PIPE FITTERS:

Period: 3 months

Duties

  • Carry out repair of water supply system to required standards.
  • Carry out timely patrols in the water system.
  • Install meters in easily accessible places to facilitate meter reading, disconnection and safety of meter
  • Carry pipe extension in approved areas
  • Carry out investigation of illegal connections and reporting same to the supervisor.
  • Carry out repairs of leaks on the pipe networks to ensure minimal water loss
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
